Excerpts from Perry Gladstone’s life experience
- During Perry's first visit to Japan, the CEO of a large public corporation explained to him that he was too young to be a manager let alone president of Limited Snowboards Inc. Less than two years later the same CEO travelled all the way to Toronto to seek out Perry’s consulting services.
- At the age of fifteen Perry opened his first retail store, a skateboard shop open after school and weekends, which grossed $110,000 in its first summer.
- After three days of negotiating the terms of sale for a new car, the management of a Southern California car dealership was so impressed with Perry they offered him a job instead and paid for his professional sales training.
- In 1999 Perry launched his career as a freelance Director and Producer. His Radio, Film and Television credits include music videos for Sony Music Entertainment, radio documentaries for the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation (CBC) and commercial production for Adidas/Salomon Sports.
- Perry was the co-founder and lead singer for the eight-piece ska band Frankie Foo and the Yo-yo smugglers.
- Perry was an elected Director and served on the executive board of Snowsports Industries of America (S.I.A.), the world’s largest Snowsports association and its Canadian equivalent the National Snowsports Industries Association.
- Perry was a founding principal of the Israel Global Television Network (IGTN) and received a personal audience and the endorsement of Nobel Peace Prize winner Shimon Peres.
- In 2002 Perry tried out for and became a member of the Canadian National Freedive Team and subsequently set a national breath-hold record of 6:01 minutes.
