Challenges: The hotel was losing money in the off-season, the restaurant business unpredictable, staff performance inconsistent and the proprieter's personal life was being stifled.
Solutions: Facilitated a personal vision for Randy giving him a clear picture of and direction towards his successful future. Created a new Vision and Mission Statement for the business, outlined a Business Plan to differentiate from competitors and effectively increase revenues and predictability and identified the key areas of the business that require training materials.

I want to thank you for your advice. I have finished a very rough copy of my business plan and have started on the operating procedures. A few things have become very clear from the plan. For example, we need about 14 people to run the hotel correctly. This means that in down season we must be closed, which is actually a huge benefit to my personal life. It also means that we need training manuals for everybody to train new employees. I am in the process of writing the training manuals and the operating procedures and I can already tell that it will help immensely. I should have done this years ago.
